Xiaomi has just presented the new toothbrush Mijia Sonic Electric Toothbrush T500, now on sale simultaneously on the official Xiaomi (Chinese) store and Tmall for the price of only 199 Yuan.
Compared to the first generation of the Xiaomi Mijia Sonic Electric Toothbrush, the T500 optimizes and improves the magnetic leavening engine and has a more refined internal structure which makes it less noisy, more stable and increases comfort during use.
At the same time, a new intelligent over-voltage detection function is used to rapidly decrease brushing force to avoid damage to the gums. Furthermore, by connecting the dedicated application of Mijia, it will be possible to customize the cleaning mode, identify daily statistics, generate reports on dental health and help you clean your teeth with a more scientific method.

In July of the 2017, Xiaomi Mijia presented the first toothbrush Mijia Sonic. Thanks to the excellent build quality and low price, the product was a huge success. Even in November of the 2018 for Chinese Black Friday it was one of the most sold Xiaomi gadgets with over 100 thousand units. Coming today, with a total of over 3 millions of toothbrushes sold worldwide. Well, the new T500 comes at the same price while becoming more advanced and smart.
Let's start with the second generation magnetic leavening engine developed by experts from Germany and Japan. The engine manages to reach the 31 thousand vibrations per minute at a high power. Although the engine has been improved, the size of the toothbrush has diminished, this obviously allows for a better user experience.
Furthermore, the toothbrush now has a torque of well 230gf.cm, managing to keep the brushes at an angle of 10 degrees at all times, or the optimal one to push the water and toothpaste into the spaces between the teeth for cleaning deeper and more accurate.
As we said before, Mijia has developed a system to protect the gums of those suffering from too much sensitivity. In fact, this system detects overvoltage problems in a smart way, being able to understand if you are facing an excess of applied force, automatically decreasing the voltage and therefore the vibrations, an LED is also activated to make it visible to the user.
The Xiaomi Mijia Sonic Electric Toothbrush T500 is equipped with a high precision accelerometer to accurately calculate the position of the toothbrush during use. The collected data is then used to create statistics that can be viewed on the Mijia application.
Finally, the toothbrush does not use metal parts to prevent the formation of rust and is obviously waterproof with the IPX7 standard. While as far as the battery is concerned, the T500 has an autonomy of 18 days if used at maximum power and can be recharged on the wireless base.
The Xiaomi Mijia Sonic Electric Toothbrush T500 is now on sale in China at the 199 Yuan figure, or on the 25 euros at the exchange rate.
