As scheduled, the brand yesterday afternoon ZTE has launched the new one Axon 50 Ultra at the ZTE Cloud Network Ecological Summit conference. This is the industry's first 5G mobile phone that supports "secure satellite communications".
ZTE Axon 50 Ultra with satellite connectivity is official in China
According to what was revealed at the presentation, ZTE Axon 50 Ultra supports two-way Beidou satellite messaging. In extreme scenarios, with no network connection nearby, it can send messages to the outside world and supports free editing of long text messages. You can choose to send the message to industry service centers or ordinary mobile phones.
As a "safe" phone, the new ZTE Axon 50 Ultra is equipped with an independent security chip and has a Chinese privacy high-level certificate, which can isolate data and allow you to be online at the same time to ensure the safety of your user data.

As for the specs, it is ZTE Axon 50 Ultra uses a 6,67-inch curved screen with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution and supports a 144 Hz refresh rate. The panel supports up to 1,07 billion colors, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and is UL listed for low blue light eye protection.
As far as performance is concerned, the Axon 50 Ultra is powered by the processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 by Qualcomm, together with LPDDR5X type RAM and UFS 3.1 type internal memory.
Photo-wise, the ZTE Axon 50 Ultra comes with a Sony IMX787 64 megapixel main camera, which supports OIS optical image stabilization, along with a 116 megapixel ultra wide angle (60 degrees) camera and a 3 megapixel 50x zoom telephoto camera.
Finally, the smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
The price of the ZTE Axon 50 Ultra has not yet been revealed but given its satellite capabilities it is thought that it is not among the cheapest.
